20161002 084758Hiba Rahim is an American-Muslim activist and community organizer. Her passion lies in developing bridges between communities through respectful dialogue and in collaboration with other groups to promote minority empowerment.

Ms. Rahim employed as a radio producer and host in Chicago, a television news anchor in London, and a researcher and translator for 2 human rights organizations in Northwest Florida. She launched her career as a college instructor at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida where she developed a unique course on “The Arab-Israeli Conflict”. She taught the class along with a former Israeli military general. This collaboration exposed students to different perspectives and allowed for a comprehensive understanding of a complex issue.

Hiba’s volunteer experience includes organizing open houses for various Mosques and Islamic Centers, representing her local community in the media, leading a local response and outreach committee, and actively working to enhance racial equality in the broader community. Hiba is also very passionate about providing international humanitarian relief and research assistance in besieged countries.

Hiba has presented dozens of lectures on Islam and politics throughout the United States. She holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from Florida State University.
