CAIR-Florida Co-Sponsors Day of Dignity September 9th to Serve Low-Income and Homeless in Bay County

(Panama City, 9/4/2017)- The Council on American-Islamic Relations - Florida (CAIR-FL) has announced that it will be co-sponsoring a Day of Dignity with Islamic Relief USA to bring community volunteers, government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, service providers, and the private sector together to help serve the low-income and homeless in Bay County.
 
The Day of Dignity event will be open to men, women, and children:
 
DATE:       Saturday, September 9, 2017
 
TIME:       10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 
PLACE:    Bay County Fairgrounds, 2230 E 15th St. Panama City, FL 32405 
 
This is the first year that CAIR-Florida in Bay County will co-sponsor this event in collaboration with Islamic Relief USA. We have teamed together with over 20 local organizations with a commitment to human development and community building.
 
The Day of Dignity is about human services in action and bringing hope and a smile to our vulnerable members of our community by feeding, clothing, and providing needed amenities. In addition to a hot lunch and non-perishable foods, other services include health screening, legal services, free haircuts, free books, free diapers and baby formula, and over 20 NEW free bikes and 30, 1-month trolley passes to be raffled!
