In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in expanding our outreach efforts, building strategic partnerships, and fostering community engagement. Working collaboratively with various teams, you’ll play a key role in advancing our mission and strengthening our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outreach Strategy and Program Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy aligned with CAIR-Florida’s organizational goals.
    • Design and implement outreach programs to enhance community engagement and awareness.
  1. Community Partnerships:
    • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with external entities to broaden the impact of CAIR-Florida’s outreach initiatives.
  1. Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Organize and coordinate outreach events, programs, and initiatives to connect with diverse communities.
    • Ensure effective execution and representation of CAIR-Florida at external events.
  1. Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with community members to enhance engagement.
    • Build strong relationships within the community, understanding their needs and interests.
  1. Volunteer Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to involve volunteers in outreach activities.
    • Ensure volunteers are effectively trained and engaged in community outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., community outreach, nonprofit management).
  • 3+ years of experience in community outreach, advocacy, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire team and community members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
