About the Survey
Between July and August 2023, CAIR-Florida completed Florida’s first statewide survey of Florida Muslims. Over 2,000 Florida Muslims accessed the survey, and 1,080 completed the survey in its entirety. There was healthy representation from all ages and both genders. We received responses from all major cities and dozens of municipalities across the state. The information herein reflects the answers of our survey respondents and the voice of our community. Florida is home to Muslims from 85+ countries, making it on of the most diverse religions in the state
- 87% are US citizens
- 31% were born in th
- 70% have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 77% contribute to our state’s workforce
Political Party Affiliation
More people are registered as Independent in every age group between
18 and 45 years old.
In the 26-35 age group, more than double are registered as Independent (53%) than Democrat (24%)
