Washington Free Beacon editor in chief Matthew Continetti said Friday that the Democratic majority in the House is "in jeopardy" if freshman Reps. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is welcome to come to Kentucky and tour a coal mine, but first she needs to apologize., says Rep. Andy Barr.

Ocasio-Cortez said in a tweet after the email was publicized that such a message "puts me in danger every time". Nearly every time this uncalled for rhetoric gets blasted by conserv. grps, we get a spike in death threats to refer to Capitol Police. As an American and a New Yorker I couldn't be more offended by this bullshit, but of course, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and their band of liberal clowns will do nothing, and the media will try to make her some sort of hero to cover her hatred of this great country and its people. He says the email wasn't something he or the organization would ever endorse.

"Members of Congress have a duty to respond to the President's explicit attack today", Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter. "We need your help to stop the brainwashing!"

The email, which went out under the name of Tom Ferrall, chairman of the Ohio Federation of College Republicans, may be a harbinger of things to come as the 2020 election approaches. "She parachuted into a congressional district she doesn't even represent and led the parade of grandstanding politicians to tank the deal", Papazian told Fox News.

The New York congresswoman retweeted comments from others who defended Omar including 2020 presidential contender Julian Castro and Rep. Antonio Delgado, D-N.Y. "This is unsafe incitement, given the death threats I face". She then added that her "love and commitment to our country and that of my colleagues should never be in question". "As we visit our troops in Stuttgart to thank them and be briefed by them, we honor our first responsibility as leaders to protect and defend the American people".

"Fox & Friends" co-anchor Brian Kilmeade said, "You have to wonder if she's an American first". And, frankly, I'm exhausted of it. "For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I'm exhausted of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be exhausted of it", she said in the March 23 speech, according to video posted online.

CAIR-Florida chief executive director Hassan Shibly on Rep. Omar's controversial 9/11 remarks.

"It is patently obvious that @IlhanMN wasn't trying to downplay the 9/11 attacks".
