Social Impact Liaison
CAIR-Florida is offering an exciting Social Impact Liaison for the 2024 Summer term. As an Outreach Intern, you will play a vital role in expanding our community connections, building partnerships, and increasing awareness of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies and programs.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations and leaders.
- Coordinate and participate in outreach events and initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of outreach materials and presentations.
- Support the Outreach Manager in various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Community Outreach, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Passion for community engagement and advocacy.
- Commitment to CAIR-FL’s mission and values.
Time Commitment:
Internships typically last 10-12 weeks, depending on whether they are full-time or part-time. Full-time internships require a commitment of 35 hours per week, while part-time internships necessitate a commitment of 20 hours per week.
Stipend:
A stipend is provided for eligible students who do not receive course credit or external funding and possess lawful authorization to work.
