To help and empower people and communities

LOREM IPSUM

A major gap in our community resources is a lack of youth development initiatives. The work that CAIR-FL ultimately does is to protect and empower American Muslims in the state. A significant portion of that population is youth, in need of direct guidance and support on how they can be involved with and empowered in the settings they find themselves in, to be advocates not only for their own civil rights but to live proudly as Muslims and change makers.

Appeals

Through our comprehensive internship program, upcoming youth are given the opportunity to directly contribute to the work of CAIR-FL to advocate on behalf of Muslims and change the systems around them for the benefit of their community.

Through engagement with college MSAs, CAIR-FL offers partnerships and curriculum for students in need of guidance in activism, civic engagement, and civil rights.

Our Muslim Youth Leadership Initiative will be a unique opportunity for select youth to invest in their leadership development over the course of a two-day retreat and with long term access to an alumni network. They will develop new skills, practice, and be empowered in their newly attained abilities.
