Immigrants’ Rights Advocate

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in research related to immigrants’ rights policies and issues.
- Support in providing resources and information to immigrant communities.
- Contribute to advocacy efforts for fair immigration policies.
- Collaborate with the Legal and Advocacy Teams on immigration cases.
- Assist in organizing and participating in community events.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Law, Political Science, or a related field.
- Interest in immigrants’ rights and immigration policy.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Commitment to CAIR-FL’s mission and values.
Time Commitment:
Internships typically last 10-12 weeks, depending on whether they are full-time or part-time. Full-time internships require a commitment of 35 hours per week, while part-time internships necessitate a commitment of 20 hours per week.
Stipend:
A stipend is provided for eligible students who do not receive course credit or external funding and possess lawful authorization to work.
