Join the dynamic team at CAIR-Florida, the leading Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, as a Volunteer Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and managing the engagement of volunteers to support our mission. Working closely with various teams, you’ll ensure effective volunteer recruitment, training, and retention strategies to enhance our organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Program Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer program aligned with CAIR-Florida’s organizational goals.
    • Design and execute strategies for volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Actively recruit volunteers through various channels, ensuring a diverse and engaged volunteer base.
    • Facilitate orientation and onboarding processes to integrate volunteers into the organization effectively.
  • Training and Development:
    • Coordinate training sessions to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge required for their roles.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer experience through ongoing development opportunities.
  • Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with volunteers to ensure their engagement and satisfaction.
    • Build strong relationships with volunteers, understanding their motivations and connecting them with meaningful opportunities.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with different teams to identify volunteer needs for specific projects or events.
    • Ensure timely and efficient deployment of volunteers to support organizational initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, volunteer management).
  • 3+ years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
